Yoga Class and Workshop Descriptions

Ashtanga Yoga: A sequence of poses and vinyasas (movement combinations with breathe) that purifies the body as well as the mind. With focus on stress release and quiets the mind.

Yoga Flow: Focus on the link between breath and movement. Sequences are connected with the context of each individuals inhalation & exhalation.

Vinyasa Flow: A vigorous dynamic style which links breath and movement through a heat building sequence of postures. For the physically active.

Hatha Yoga: Will emphasize the foundations of alignment, breath, flexibility, stamina, vitality and the use of ones core. No two classes will be the same.

Hatha Blend: A unique approach to integrating different yoga disciplines to create an eclectic experience.

Restorative Yoga: Bringing recuperation to your organs, nervous system, and consciousness. Long holds, props and breathing techniques may be used to allow the breath and body to open.

Iyengar Blend: Classic yoga postures with deep awareness of correct alignment and precise actions in the body. Helps to refine your pose while it trains the mind to remain alert, focused and composed. Highly therapeutic.

Yin Yoga: Slow deep stretch yoga that targets connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. Postures are held for longer periods of time facilitating deeper opening.

Ananda Yoga: Relaxation is at the core of this practice. Energization exercises and pose affirmations help keep the mind focused and bring the physical and mental into unity.

Spirit Dancing: Dance & healing movement from the inside out. This is a fun, free – flowing , wonderful way to tune into your heart and soul through expressive movement.

Loving Life workshop: Topics will vary . This will be a great venue to reasonably receive inspiration and personalized guidance on overcoming limitations and living your best life.
